Within the Council area, cemeteries have been established at the following locations:

- Waikerie

Transfer of Interment Right Form
When a plot is reserved in a Cemetery a legal document called an Interment Right will be issued giving the individual ownership over that particular plot. The Interment Right is required to be in the name of an individual who is living and over the age of 18. This can be transferred to a new Interment Right holder at any time by completing the Transfer of Interment Right Declaration and submitting to Council.
Cremated Remains Authority Form
To inter Cremated Remains within a Cemetery, the Cremated Remains Authority Form will need to be completed by the Authorised Person (as indicated on the form) and submitted to Council for processing. Council staff will then make contact to organise the interment.
