Supporting Breastfeeding in Community Places

We want our communities to be welcoming, inclusive and supportive places where families feel comfortable participating in everyday life. For some mothers, breastfeeding away from home can feel challenging if they are unsure whether they will be supported. The three Riverland councils have identified council operated facilities as breastfeeding friendly venues and are encouraging other businesses and organisations to do the same. To learn more and get involved, visit our Breastfeeding Welcome Everywhere page.
